Speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas has been discussing Tottenham’s hunt for a new attacking player and Jack Harrison.

Spurs have been linked with a number of attackers in recent months, particularly from the Premier League.

Indeed, the likes of Harvey Barnes, Adama Traore and Anthony Gordon have all been tipped to join Spurs, and according to Thomas, one player to keep an eye on right now is Jack Harrison.

The Sky reporter says that Harrison is one to watch out for, stating that the left-footer was high on Leeds’ list last summer.

Keep an eye on Harrison

Thomas said that Harrison is a player to watch out for from a Spurs perspective.

“Adama Traore I think that’s been and gone to be honest. Harvey Barnes is an interesting one. He ticks the similar boxes to Anthony Gordon and Jack Harrison who was another one Spurs were interested in in in the summer, Harrison from Leeds is another one to keep an eye on generally in those positions because he was definitely high on the list last summer Harrison was,” Thomas said.

Form has dipped

Spurs were looking at Harrison in the summer off the back of a very good season for Leeds United, but since then, his form has dropped off massively.

He has just one Premier League goal to his name this term, and while he has three assists, he’s not contributed to a goal since August.

Of course, one bad spell doesn’t make Harrison a bad player necessarily, but Tottenham do need to be wary when signing a player who is underperforming quite a lot at this moment in time.

Spurs should be wary of Harrison’s dip this season before considering any sort of move for the player.
