Keane says Tottenham ace has had a ‘conversation’ with Levy & will stay

Robbie Keane has claimed that Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, has had a ‘conversation’ with Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho in regards to his future.

The former Spurs man thinks Kane will stay in North London next season and shared that ‘£100 million-plus’ will only prize him away, as he told Stadium Astro.

During lockdown, Kane refused to rule out leaving Spurs in the future, as he told Sky Sports.

During his own career, Keane left Tottenham for Liverpool, which didn’t work out, as he now shared his thoughts on Kane’s future.

“He [Kane[ has to stay,” Keane told Stadium Astro. “He is the talisman for the team. He’s the one that people identify to. I believe he will be there next season.

“Knowing Daniel Levy, the way I do, he will do everything he can to keep him. He cannot go anywhere unless people come in and make massive, massive bids. So, you are going to be talking about £100 million-plus.

“Harry would have, I am sure, had a conversation with Daniel and Jose for next season. I think, from Spurs’ point of view, let’s get this season out of the way and start building for next season. And, of course, Harry Kane will be a part of that.”

The recent pandemic has affected everyone, and in the case of football, teams may find that they do not have big, big money to splash.

That helps Spurs because if they were to ever sell Kane then he wouldn’t go cheap.

It does seem as though next season will be key for the England man because if Spurs stagnate once more and fail to win a trophy then their fans will begin to worry about the future of their star man.
