Norwich City slumped to a 5-0 battering from Brighton at the Falmer Stadium.

Norwich City suffered an embarrassing defeat to in-form Brighton at the weekend as they were beaten 5-0.
Brighton took the lead in the sixth minute with a goal from Glenn Murray, and the striker played a crucial part in the game, bagging himself a hat-trick. Goals also came in the second half from Lewis Dunk and Anthony Knockaert.

Norwich were awful and failed to mount any serious threat towards Brighton’s goal, only managing two shots on target.
Brighton have now kept their 10th clean sheet of the season – the most of any team in the top four tiers of English football this season. Te win for the hosts’ means that they now extend their unbeaten Championship run to nine games.

Alex Neil’s side have not kept a clean sheet in 12 league games. The Canaries have now dropped to fourth following their poor recent form. The win for Brighton means that Chris Hughton’s team are second, two points behind leaders Newcastle.

Norwich’s next game is at home to Leeds United on November 5th. Alex Neil will have to put this disastrous defeat behind them. The Canaries will be under pressure to get back to winning ways. While Brighton will travel to Bristol City.
