Manchester City drew 1-1 to Middlesbrough at the Ethiad on Saturday.

Manchester City threw away the chance of remaining at the top of the table by conceding a last-minute injury time goal.
Marten de Roon’s goal snatched a win from Manchester City, earning Middlesbrough a point as the home side were finally punished after a poor second half display.

A Kevin de Bruyne assist helped Sergio Aguero fire City ahead just before half time, Aguero’s goal marked his 14th in 15 games in all competitions.
Boro came back after the break as a different side, former City striker Alvaro Negredo came close, but his effort was saved by Claudio Bravo.
City had several chances to win the game though as De Bruyne missed an empty net and Aguero also missed another clear chance.

Following a mid-week 3-1 victory against Barcelona, Pep Guardiola would have expected his side to secure themselves a comfortable victory against Boro.

The draw for City now means that they slip down to third, Rivals Liverpool and Chelsea are now above City following their wins this weekend.
