Manchester City continued their winning start to this Premier League campaign with a 3-1 victory over West Ham.
Manchester City’s perfect start to the season under new manager Pep Guardiola continues, with a comfortable win against West Ham at the Ethiad.
Guardiola hailed City’s performance as the ‘best performance of the season’.

Raheem Sterling opened the scoring in the 7th minute, with Fernandinho doubling Manchester City’s lead in the 18th minute. City looked unstoppable in the first-half.
Michail Antonio pulled one back for West Ham in the second-half, and City had to try and hold on once the Hammers got that goal back. Sterling’s second goal in stoppage time, however, secured the win. The England star put in a terrific performance and looked like the £49 million player Manchester City clearly thought he was when they bought him from Liverpool last year.

It’s not good news for Sergio Aguero, however, as it’s likely that he will serve a three match ban after elbowing West Ham’s Winston Reid. A ban would mean that the Argentina international would miss Manchester City’s first game after the international break – the crucial Manchester Derby at Old Trafford. The striker will also miss games against Bournemouth and the EFL cup tie against Swansea City.
This news will no doubt come as a blow to City fans who will be targeting another three points against their Manchester rivals.
Manchester City fans took to Twitter to react to the news that Aguero is likely to miss the derby:
