Leicester City lost 4-1 to Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.

Leicester City looked far from the title-winning champions yesterday when they suffered a 4-1 beating from Liverpool.

First-half goals by Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane put Liverpool 2-0 up, A goal from Jamie Vardy put the Foxes back in the game before half time.

In the second half, Liverpool dominated the game. Adam Lallana rifled the ball into the top left-hand corner, making the score 3-1.

Firmino doubled his tally making it 4-1 and prevented Leicester from having any chance of getting back into the game.

It was an easy game for Liverpool, and manager Jurgen Klopp will be thrilled with how the Reds performed. The Reds looked like a real threat throughout the match and outshone Leicester.

Claudio Ranieri will not be pleased with his side’s performance. Leicester had only three shots on target.

The Foxes have got off to a shaky start this season. The champions currently sit 15th in the table, taking just four points from four games.

It’s early days, but it’s clear to see that Leicester are missing N’Golo Kante. The midfielder left the champions in the summer to join Chelsea.

Leicester looked like they had all their focus on their up and coming Champions League fixture against Club Brugge on Wednesday.

The Foxes; next Premier League game is against Burnley at the King Power Stadium. Pressure will be on for Ranieri to get a result and pick up a much-needed three points.
