Sunderland are still without a win this season after losing 3-2 to Sunderland yesterday, the Saints came from 2-0 down to pull a win out of the bag.

Sunderland controlled the game in the first-half and looked like the team to secure the win, two goals came from Jermain Defoe just before half-time and one just after the break, putting the Black Cats 2-0 up.

Joe Ledley scored a minute after Defoe’s second, putting Palace back into the game. Goals followed by James McArthur and Christian Benteke earning Pardew’s team their third Premier League win this season.

Benteke’s last minute header came from six yards after a free kick, which now leaves the Black Cats bottom of the table.

Pardew’s subs was a game changer for Palace, Zeki Fryers had been on the pitch for just 25 seconds when he crossed for McArthur to score. Lee Chung-Yong only touch of the game came from a free kick, which allowed Benteke to head the ball in the back of the net.

The win for Palace now means that the London side are up to seventh in the league, Pardew’s team will travel to Goodison Park to face Everton on Friday.
