When the UFC’s new deal with Paramount and CBS kicks in, the viewing experience isn’t expected to change much for fans.
The $7.7 billion agreement, signed last year, ties the two together for the next seven years.
The first event under this partnership will be UFC 324, scheduled for January 24 in Las Vegas.
This week brought word of who will be calling that card, which features Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett fighting for the interim lightweight title.
UFC 324 Broadcast team confirmed

Kate Scott is the only new face on the UFC 324 broadcast team, joining an otherwise familiar lineup.
The experienced broadcaster, who speaks four languages, has hosted World Cup matches and world title fights. She’s currently part of CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage.
Scott will take over desk anchor duties for UFC 324, filling in for Karyn Bryant.
The commentary team at T-Mobile Arena will feature Joe Rogan, Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier.
Megan Olivi returns as roving reporter, while Din Thomas provides coaching insights throughout the event. And Bruce Buffer, as always, will handle fighter introductions inside the Octagon.
Kate Scott and the viral moment with Khabib Nurmagomedov
Even if Kate Scott’s name doesn’t immediately ring a bell, many MMA fans might remember her from a memorable incident involving Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The clip circulated widely online, as he greeted three men with handshakes before placing his hand over his heart instead of shaking Scott’s hand.
The former UFC lightweight champion received some criticism for not offering a handshake to Scott.
Cormier added: “If you know his religion, that’s the way it is. Not many men are willing to do that, especially in that moment.
“I’m pretty sure he explained it to her afterwards, but it’s live TV, right? Things happen. That’s respect to his wife, and honestly, it’s respect to Kate. It’s actually a respectful gesture to the person you’re refusing to shake hands [with] because he, as a married man, shouldn’t shake the hand of another woman.”
