Ajax forward Kasper Dolberg has told Elf Voetbal, as translated by The Daily Mail, that he will not leave the club in the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old has been in brilliant form for the Dutch giants this season, and has been scoring goals left, right and centre.

The Denmark international forward has scored 16 goals in the Eredivisie, one in the Champions League and six in the Europa League this campaign, according to WhoScored.

“I will stay next season at Ajax,” he told Elf Voetbal, as translated by The Daily Mail. “I want to get better and score more goals.”

Blow for Premier League trio?

Dolberg’s comments about his future will come as a blow to Everton, Manchester United and Manchester City, who have been linked with the teenage forward.

According to The Daily Mail, Premier League giants United and City want the young Dane, while The Express has credited Merseyside outfit Everton with interest in the 19-year-old.

However, despite Dolberg’s comments, Everton, United and City should still keep tabs on the youngster for January 2018 or for next season.

The Ajax teenager is a hugely promising forward, and his performances and goals this season suggest that he will get better as he matures.
