KAS Eupen have signed Yuta Toyokawa on loan from Leeds United in the January transfer window.

The Belgian club have announced that Leeds have signed Toyokawa from Japanese second division club Fagiono Okayama and have loaned him out to them.
The 23-year-old is a talented and promising striker who has played for the Japan youth teams.
The striker will participate in KAS Eupen’s training camp in Doha with the Aspire Academy this month and will then start playing competitive football.

KAS Director Christoph Henkel rates the Japanese striker highly and told the club’s official website: “We have managed to sign a second player after Florian Raspentino to reinforce our attack.
“Yuta Toyokawa is a quick, dangerous striker and is sure to increase our team’s chances in the struggle to avoid relegation from the first division.”

Toyokawa is the second Japanese player to sign for Leeds in the January transfer window.
The Championship club recently announced on their official website that they have agreed a fee with Japanese club Gamba Osaka for Yosuke Ideguchi.
Leeds also announced that the 21-year-old Japan international midfielder is likely to join Cultural Leonesa on loan for the rest of the season should he pass his medical test next week.
It seems that the West Yorkshire outfit are preparing for the future.
