West Ham were excited to add Angus Kinnear, so Leeds United should be too.

The Telegraph reported this week that Leeds United are set to appoint West Ham United managing director Angus Kinnear to the club’s board.
Kinnear has a wealth of experience, working at Arsenal prior to his stint at the Hammers, helping them with their transition to The Emirates and West Ham’s move to the Olympic Stadium.
There are no stadium plans in the pipework at Leeds, but the Whites will be adding a man with a track record of working with high end commercial partners.
West Ham United vice chairman Karren Brady
If Leeds fans were still unsure of Kinnear’s credentials, West Ham vice chairman Karren Brady’s words when he was appointed by the Hammers in 2013 speak volumes.
She told West Ham’s official website: “The fact we were able to secure the services of someone so highly regarded is testament to the direction the club is heading.
“This is a key appointment for my senior management team and I am looking forward to working closely with Angus and the rest of my staff over the coming years.”

If West Ham were thrilled to be able to lure Kinnear, Leeds should be even more delighted.
His appointment indicates the current pulling power of Leeds United, as if it were not already evident by the appointment of former Real Madrid chief Ivan Bravo last week.
Co-owner Andrea Radrizzani is putting a stellar team in place in the Leeds boardroom, laying the groundwork for the future success which fans crave as they seek to get back into the big time.
