West Ham United moved to the London Stadium at the start of the season.
West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has written in her football diary in The Sun that manager Slaven Bilic will turn things around.
The Hammers have been disappointing in the Premier League so far this season. The London outfit are struggling for points at the moment and currently find themselves in the relegation zone.
Brady, though, is not panicking and has backed manager Bilic to turn things around.
“Baggies centre-back Jonny Evans claims Slaven Bilic’s attacking tactics leave us vulnerable in defence,” Brady wrote in her football diary in The Sun while referring to West Ham’s 4-2 defeat to West Bromwich Albion away from home at The Hawthorns in the Premier League last weekend.
“True, we’ve had a couple of stinkers but such things happen in football, particularly when a manager is intent on providing lively entertainment. Slaven will no doubt find an answer without sacrificing our goalscoring threat.”
Brady has also suggested that some people resent West Ham for their good fortune.
The Hammers moved to the London Stadium at the start of the season and are getting crowds of over 50,000 for their home matches at the moment.
The West Ham vice-chairman has suggested that some rivals fans resent the club for their move to the new stadium.
“The club have been disappointed by recent defeats,” Brady wrote. “We are doing everything possible to correct any problems.
“But I can’t get over the feeling that we are being picked on by people who resent our good fortune in being able to move into a beautiful, modern stadium.”
West Ham will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Southampton at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
The Hammers need to win against the Saints in order to maintain their chances of a top-six finish in the league this season.
