West Ham’s owners are here to stay claims the club’s vice-chairman.

This summer has seen Chinese investment in English football continue to a new level. Aston Villa, West Brom and Wolves have all been purchased by Chinese consortiums or businessmen this summer and it appears as though Chinese investment is set to continue.
But one team that won’t be being sold to China is West Ham, at least according to their vice-chairman Karren Brady.
She has commented in her column in The Sun this weekend about the increased investment from China.

Whilst she admits that West Ham might look like an attractive proposition from those in the Far East, West Ham’s owners David Gold and David Sullivan would not be entertaining the idea of a sale:
“Thirty Chinese billionaires are calculated to be queuing up to buy into English football clubs.
“Three have become an Oriental wedge in the West Midlands — West Brom, Villa and Wolves adding to an earlier representative, Birmingham.

“The China-fixation of the Championship has been accelerated by the lack of Premier League clubs for sale. West Ham may look an enticing prospect from Beijing — but here’s news, our owners are staying put.”
West Ham are currently a team going through a big change. They have moved in to the now named London Stadium and it is certainly an exciting period to be a fan of the Hammers.

The club have excellent talents such as Dimitri Payet and are showing serious ambition in the transfer market – even if they have struggled to get some of their big name targets.
They want to take the club to the next level and do not want to give the club away to anyone else.
