Liverpool and Manchester City are ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table at the moment.

Brady also believes that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino’s aim this season is to finish in the top four.
Spurs are third in the league table at the moment with 54 points from 24 matches, two points behind second-placed Manchester City and seven points behind leaders Liverpool.
As for West Ham, the Hammers are currently 12th in the standings with 31 points from 24 games.
Brady wrote in The Sun: “North of the River Thames and south of the Watford Gap, we were beginning to forget about football trophies this season.
“That was until the midweek results and two late goals suddenly pushed Tottenham into title contention. Not that they are going to win it.
“And this isn’t just a neighbour’s envious jab at Mauricio Pochettino’s classy team because the Spurs manager seems to agree with me.
“His aim is to get top four, move home and start to win the trophies of which he is so far bereft. Or possibly head for Old Trafford instead.”

Possible title challenge
Liverpool and City are the two best sides in the Premier League, and they also have the best squad.
However, Tottenham are only two points behind City, and that has to count for something.
After all, Spurs did not sign a single player in the summer of 2018 or in January 2019, and the North London outfit also have had injury concerns.
Tottenham are winning Premier League games, and getting knocked out of the FA Cup and the EFL Cup can only help Pochettino’s team.
