Tottenham Hotspur’s progress to the Champions League final has impressed West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady.

Tottenham won against Ajax in dramatic fashion in the Champions League semi-finals to progress to the final.
Spurs will take on Premier League rivals Liverpool in the final of Europe’s premier club competition on June 1.
Liverpool and Manchester City are locked in the race for the Premier League title race.
West Ham vice-chairman Brady has spoken highly of Spurs, pointing out that the North London outfit did not sign a single player in the summer of 2018 or in the January transfer window.

Brady wrote in The Sun: “Salah must have loaned that T-shirt to Spurs who were reminded by manager Mauricio Pochettino that Liverpool had done the impossible and so could they against Ajax in Amsterdam.
“So in an all-Premier League final Liverpool or Spurs have the chance of grasping the European Cup as consolation for the probability that the two-club Grand National finish to the title will end in City winning by a nostril.
“Spurs were the one team with education and talent to measure up to our two Titans. Argentine Poch has taught them to ignore any tendencies to an inferiority complex to run parallel to Liverpool in English football’s finest 24 hours.”
Massive success
Tottenham do not have a squad as good as the likes of Manchester City, Barcelona, Real Madrid or Juventus, and they have really defied the odds to progress as far as the final of the Champions League.
The North London outfit have been superb in Europe this season, and they have deservedly progressed to the final.
Liverpool will not be easy to win against in Madrid, but Spurs do have the belief and confidence that they can get the job done.
