Unpopular West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has done her reputation with the club’s supporters no favours with a message posted on Twitter.
West Ham United’s players look dejected during the defeat to Arsenal
The Hammers have slipped right down into relegation trouble after suffering five defeats in a row and are without a win in their last seven matches.
The latest loss came at the hands of Arsenal, 3-0, on Wednesday night – their second of the week so far after a 2-1 reverse at Hull City last weekend.
It leaves Slaven Bilic‘s side sitting perilously close to the danger zone and the club one loss away from the ‘six defeat limit’ at which point co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold reportedly review their manager’s immediate future.
Sullivan, Gold and Brady have been criticised for their public profiles in discussing team and club affairs.
And on the eve of today’s crucial match against fellow strugglers Swansea City, Brady has done her reputation with supporters no favours with a message posted on Twitter.
As Bilic’s side prepared to face Arsenal on Wednesday night, Brady posted a picture on Twitter of the dessert table at the Emirates with the caption ‘Arsenal’s desserts!’.

And while that message was posted before a match the Hammers went on to lose, it did not go down well at all with the Hammers faithful online.
The post sparked an angry response with fans rounding on the woman who spearheaded the club’s move from Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium.
West Ham United fans
The post shows a lack of understanding from Brady and in all likelihood supporters would have been annoyed by it even if the Hammers had have beaten the Gunners.
In Brady’s defense it was posted before the game and fans do not like it when she talks about team matters so perhaps some need to realise they can’t have it both ways.
That will not hold much water with the suffering supporters, though, and has been labelled ‘out of touch’ given the desperate situation Bilic and his team find themselves in ahead of the clash with the Swans on Saturday afternoon.
