West Ham United fans have become disillusioned with their club’s owners.

West Ham’s vice-chairman Karren Brady penned a nine-page open letter to the club’s fans, ahead of a planned protest march against the club’s board on March 10th, highlighting how there are plans afoot to bring the seating closer to the pitch at the London Stadium, according to Sky Sports.

The Hammers moved into their new Stratford home at the start of the 2016/17 season, but the switch from Upton Park has not gone according to plan so far.

The east London outfit have had to endure a miserable time at home, and the atmosphere has sometimes bordered on being toxic.

West Ham fans feel let down by their board, after being promised world-class players and a stadium with an atmosphere that would rival their fabled old ground.

Brady has moved to assure fans that there are plans in place to improve the London Stadium with regards to bringing the seats closer to the pitch, according to Sky Sports.

Hammers fans are a hardened bunch, though, and will not believe talks of improvement until they actually see it with their own eyes, having been led down the garden path one too many times by Brady, Sullivan and Gold in the past.

The protest planned for March 10th is still set to go ahead, and is planned to take place before the home game against Burnley.
