Karren Brady has message for West Ham fans ahead of Leicester game

West Ham United will face Leicester City at the London Stadium in the Premier League this evening.

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has urged in The Sun the club’s fans to give their backing to the team this evening.

The Hammers will return to action in a few hours’ time when they take on Leicester City at the London Stadium in the Premier League.

David Moyes’s side will head into the match on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Watford away from home at Vicarage Road.

West Ham are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just nine points from 12 matches.

The London club’s fans are understandably frustrated with the situation and voiced their discontent during the match against Watford last weekend.

West Ham vice-chairman Brady has urged the fans to back the team against Leicester at the London Stadium this evening.

Brady has also appeared to hint that the West Ham board, including co-chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan, are not planning to leave the club anytime soon.

Gold, Sullivan and Brady have been at West Ham since January 2010, according to The Guardian.

“We are not quitters and we are here to honour our commitment and cement the long-term future of West Ham United FC,” Brady wrote in The Sun.

“We are here to see the children who became season-ticket holders last year, grow up and bring their children to watch their first match at London Stadium.

But just one message for those who made their feelings known as loudly as possible at Watford last week . . .

“We understand the frustration, we hear your complaints and we really do care. However, for 90 minutes tonight let’s all pull in the same direction and be West Ham. United.”
