West Ham United should be busy in the transfer market this summer.

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has told Sky Sports that she knows the club have a plan in place for the summer transfer window.
The Hammers finished in the top 10 this season, but still short of European football – something the club will surely aim for in the coming seasons.
Boss Manuel Pellegrini ended up having a decent season after a tough start, but he will need reinforcements to take the club forward again, with another busy summer on the cards.
West Ham made 11 signings last summer, and whilst a similar influx isn’t expected this time around, some key additions are needed in key areas of Pellegrini’s squad.
A host of strikers are needed with Andy Carroll, Javier Hernandez and Lucas Perez potentially leaving this summer, and Marko Arnautovic’s future still unresolved.
Now, vice-chairman Brady has admitted that the transfers are handled by David Sullivan and Pellegrini, with no mention of director of football Mario Husillos, even though you still expect him to have a huge say.

Brady added that she knows there have been meetings about transfers, and knows there is a plan and targets in place, meaning West Ham fans could see some movement soon.
“It’s never ending; we spent over £100m last summer,” said Brady. “The transfers are always dealt with between our chairman David Sullivan and the manager directly.”
“My role is much more in relation to the commercial side of the club; the stadium and so on. I know they’ve already had meetings, I know they’ve got a plan and I know they’ve got targets,” she added.
