West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis recently spoke highly of West Ham United’s home ground, the London Stadium.

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has suggested in her football diary in The Sun that the club saved the London Stadium from becoming derelict.

The Hammers moved into the London Stadium at the start of the 2016-17 season.

Brady believes that it was a good move from West Ham, and has agreed with West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis about the atmosphere at the ground.

The Essex Chronicle quoted Pulis as saying earlier this month that the London Stadium has a fantastic atmosphere.

The West Brom manager made the comments following his side’s 2-2 draw with West Ham in London in the Premier League on February 11.

“West Brom manager Tony Pulis likes the London Stadium and credits it with having a great atmosphere — he is spot on,” Brady wrote in her football diary in The Sun.

“So when I see empty and derelict Olympic venues in Rio, I’m even happier that West Ham taking on the 2012 stadium may have saved it from a similar fate.”

West Ham are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 32 points from 25 matches.

Meanwhile, West Brom currently find themselves eighth in the standings with 37 points from 25 games.

The Hammers will return to action on Saturday evening when they take on Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League, while the Baggies will face Bournemouth at The Hawthorns in the league on Saturday afternoon.
