
Some Everton fans seem to have taken great joy while watching Barcelona vs PSG on Tuesday evening as Moise Kean got one over Ronald Koeman.
The irony of an Everton loanee bagging a decisive goal in the Champions League against Koeman certainly wasn’t lost on Everton fans, and it seems as though there is very little love lost between the two parties.
Indeed, many Evertonians were relishing the fact that Koeman was on the wrong end of a thrashing, and they were loving the fact that Kean played a part in Barcelona’s demise.
Koeman was certainly a divisive figure when he was in charge at Goodison Park, and it seems as though some fans still harbour ill-feelings towards their former boss.
Everton fans weren’t getting too nasty, and it was all in good jest, but it has to be said that the fact that Kean was the one to put the game out of sight for PSG was ironic as an Everton loanee seemingly knocked Koeman out of the Champions League.
Of course, we’ve seen historic comebacks in this fixture before, so perhaps it’s Koeman who will have the last laugh after all.
