The West Ham United youngster is excelling for Oxford United.

The Oxford United boss, Karl Robinson, is “not concerned at all” at the prospect of an early recall for the U’s West Ham United loanee, Marcus Browne.
Browne has scored or assisted 10 goals in 21 games for the League One side, and caught the eye of the former West Ham defender, Rio Ferdinand, during last month’s 4-2 win at Rochdale.
Speaking to the Oxford Mail this week, Robinson claimed the forward’s club are “over the moon” with his development, and added that Browne is up there with the best players he has ever worked with.
But despite confirming that there is an early recall clause in Browne’s loan agreement, Robinson explained via the same publication: “Most Premier League clubs have that. But if Marcus goes back to West Ham and plays under 23 football, that is not development.
“We always have to treat loan players with an element of fear, because there is always the possibility (of them being recalled).
“But West Ham are delighted with how things are going with him here. I am not concerned at all.”

As per Fifa rules, West Ham can only exercise their recall clause during the January transfer window.
Browne, 20, has little more than 18 months left on his contract at the London Stadium.
