Karl Robinson turned down a move to Leeds United last summer.
Karl Robinson has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on 24th October, that he does not regret his decision to stick with MK Dons for so long.
Robinson was in charge of MK Dons for seven years, before parting company with the League One side this weekend.
During his time at MK, Robinson attracted the attentions of a number of clubs, with Leeds United being one of the interested parties.

Leeds offered their managerial job to Robinson last summer (Sky Sports), but he turned it down.
With Leeds now on the verge of the play offs in the Championship, and MK Dons struggling in League One it would be easy to look back on the decision as a mistake.
However, Robinson insists that he has no regrets over turning down Leeds to remain with the Dons.

“No, I honestly don’t [have any regrets],” he said. “I think once you make a decision in your life you have to stick by your principles. If I was disappointed by the things I said no to, I’d have looked at the last two years as a failure.
“But I’m very proud of what I’ve done. Hopefully what it’s done, is that it’s taught me so much.”
After Robinson turned down the Leeds job, Garry Monk eventually took charge at Elland Road and he has made an impressive start.
Robinson, meanwhile, failed to guide MK Dons to a home win in any of their last 13 matches in front of their own fans and a 3-0 defeat to Southend United ultimately proved to be the final straw.
