The former Wolves and Stoke midfielder will take his stay at the Hoops into a fourth season.
QPR’s Karl Henry
Queens Park Rangers have announced that midfielder Karl Henry has signed a one-year contract extension at Loftus Road.
The 33-year-old was a key member of the squad for the different managers in charge in West London last season, first Chris Ramsey, then caretaker Neil Warnock and lastly current head coach manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, making 39 appearances in total.
Henry moved to QPR from Wolves in 2013, helping them to promotion through the playoffs that season but unable to keep the Hoops in the top flight longer than one campaign. He initially signed a two-year contact, before extending it for a further season last summer.
And the club and Henry have today agreed to keep his association going for at least one more year by adding another extension.

He scored one goal over the recent campaign, a super long range strike to win the club’s final Championship match against Bristol City. That looked like it may have been one of his last acts for the club, but instead Rs fans will hope he can help them back to the Premier League over the coming twelve months, with Henry himself eager to improve upon the 12th place finish.
“I’ve not signed here because I want to finish mid-table,” Henry told the QPR site. “I want to be in the top six and that’s where I believe we can be and that’s our target.”
