Craig Gordon needs to seriously consider quitting Celtic if a transfer rumour comes off.

It’s been a horrendous 2019 for Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon so far.
The 36-year-old hasn’t kicked a ball for club or country this calendar year, after losing his place to Scott Bain for Celtic and Scotland.
And if a transfer rumour is true, it’s about to get a lot worse for the veteran.
According to The Chronicle, the Hoops want to sign Newcastle United keeper Karl Darlow this summer.
If that happens, Gordon is effectively finished at Parkhead. Gordon would then be the team’s third-choice keeper and surely he has to leave or retire in that scenario.
At 36, Gordon, contracted until June 2020, hasn’t got long left in his playing career anyway.
If he wants to end his career by actually playing regularly then he simply has to leave if Darlow is signed.
The legendary Scot has won 11 major titles at Parkhead, and it could be 12 this time next week as Lennon’s side prepare for a Scottish Cup final with Hearts at Hampden Park.
