Nottingham Forest reportedly want Karim Ansarifard on a free transfer.

According to The Nottingham Post, Ansarifard is close to joining Forest following his departure from Greek side Olympiacos.
The 28-year-old forward seems to have suggested that he is heading to the City Ground.
The Iran international, though, has admitted that he knows that he will not find it easy at Forest and has also spoken highly of the Reds.
Ansarifard told The Tehran Times: “I know that I have a difficult task ahead since Nottingham Forest are among the best teams in Championship but I will do my best and I’m happy and I hope to help the team to achieve our goals. I think so many football players dream of playing in England.”

Is Karim Ansarifard needed at Nottingham Forest?
Forest have a strong team and are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship table this season.
The Reds, though, are struggling for goals, with summer signing Lewis Grabban yet to find the net in the Championship so far this season.
Karanka’s side have scored just eight goals in seven Championship games so far this campaign, and signing Ansarifard on a free transfer would not be a bad idea.
Forest will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on Sheffield Wednesday at the City Ground in the Championship.
