Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka has spoken about what his side need to do to get out of their recent bad run of form.

As reported by Sky Sports, Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka has said that the club need to concentrate for the full 90 minutes as well as learn quickly if they want to get out of their current situation and start climbing the league table.
Boro fans were optimistic for the season ahead following their 2-1 derby victory over rivals Sunderland, but in the weeks that followed have only managed to pick up one point from their next four league games.
Karanka thinks he has identified a potential remedy to the issue, and told Sky Sports: “We are learning but we have to learn quick as the games are coming and we are losing games. I don’t and I never want excuses and we have a good opportunity now against West Ham before the international break.
“I can say that Everton and Tottenham are not in our league, but if we lose all the games against teams which are not in our league then we are going to get relegated so every single game is important for us.

“We have lost our last three games but our start to the season was really good, so we have to keep calm. We are in a position that is not a concern at all for anybody and we have to keep improving and growing because we have a few players who have Premier League experience.”
This is Boro’s first season back in the top flight for seven years and they will not want to waste the opportunity to solidify themselves as a certified Premier League team. Karanka will know that stability will not come overnight, but he must be wary that once you are stuck in a rut in this league it can be extremely difficult to get out of.
In some ways Boro fans will be thankful that they are even in this position, given that Karanka was on the verge of leaving the club towards the end of last season after rumours of a dispute.
With the quality that they have at their disposal having added names like Alvaro Negredo into the squad, they should be optimistic as the season moves forward.
The North East side’s next challenge comes in the form of a trip to the London Stadium to face fellow strugglers West Ham United at the weekend. With the heightened pressure surrounding the Hammers in the last few weeks this should be seen as a huge opportunity to get back to winning ways.
