Celtic take on Livingston this afternoon – and Neil Lennon may yet be handing some playing time to winger Karamoko Dembele.
The Bhoys beat CFR Cluj 2-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night, and will be looking to take that form into today’s visit to the Tony Macaroni Arena.
Yet with tired legs from Thursday’s game, Lennon may be keen to change up his side and bring in fresh faces, with one big change potentially in mind.
The Scottish Sun carried photos of teenager Karamoko Dembele in first-team training yesterday, suggesting he may well be in contention to play.
The teenager has been out injured for the last month, but his return to action may just give him a real chance of playing against Livingston today.
Dembele, 16, made his debut on the final day of last season, producing a superb and exciting display against Hearts to leave fans dazzled and ultimately expecting big things this season.
So far though, Dembele has yet to play this season. Lennon has preferred to go with more experienced names like James Forrest, Mikey Johnston and Mohamed Elyounoussi, whilst he also has the likes of Scott Sinclair, Lewis Morgan, Maryan Shved and Jonny Hayes at his disposal too.
That makes it hard for Dembele to get a game, but he could be in line for a first appearance of the season today, having featured in training on Saturday.
