Harry Kane’s camp have told both Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich that they want his potential move to the Allianz Arena sorted this week.

That is according to the reliable Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the transfer expert revealed that Harry Kane‘s people have made it clear that they want a deal done now and that the striker’s preference is to join Bayern before Tottenham‘s first Premier League game against Brentford on Sunday.

“Harry Kane’s camp communicated to both Tottenham and Bayern that they want the deal to be decided this week,” Romano said. “Harry Kane’s preference is not to leave after the first game in the Premier League this season.”

Kane is a key target for the German giants as Thomas Tuchel looks to bring in a new centre-forward.

The Guardian claimed on Monday that Bayern had an £86m bid rejected for the 30-year-old.

Time is running out for Bayern Munich

Kane would be a dream signing for Bayern, who have not replaced Robert Lewandowski following his move to Barcelona last summer.

The England captain is easily one of the best No.9s in the world, with his goal record in recent seasons proving that.

With him in their squad, that would surely guarantee Tuchel’s side another Bundesliga title this season, while his arrival could perhaps help them to challenge for the Champions League as well.

However, if they are going to sign Kane during this transfer window, then it looks like they are going to have to do a deal quickly.

Whatever happens, it appears that the Three Lions star’s time at Tottenham is coming to an end. He is into the final year of his contract and does not seem keen on putting pen to paper on a new one.

If he is still in north London after the transfer market shuts and Ange Postecoglou’s men find themselves doing well in the league, perhaps that may change. But ultimately, his contract situation means he could leave now or next summer, and Daniel Levy will not be able to stand in his way then.
