Ian Wright has said on Match of the Day on BBC One (11:18pm, September 11, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane should be worried if the team play the way they did against Crystal Palace yesterday.

Tottenham suffered a 3-0 defeat to Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London in the Premier League.

During the game, Kane, 28, did not have a shot or a touch inside the opposition’s box.

Arsenal legend Wright believes that Spurs head coach Nuno should have made creative changes when the North London club went 1-0 down.

The BBC pundit also believes that if Spurs are not more creative or play in a more attacking way, then it will be a worry for striker Kane.

Wright said on Match of the Day on BBC One (11:18pm, September 11, 2021): “I thought that they might have changed something when they went a goal down.”

The former Arsenal star added about Kane: “No touches in the box. That’s gotta be a worry for him, especially if that’s the way they are going to go.”

Should Harry Kane be worried?

Spurs truly lacked creativity against Palace, and Kane did not have any service.

Tottenham had just two shots, and only one of them was on target.

Now, you have to consider that Spurs did not have Son Heung-min among other players for the match against Palace.

Son is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League and is a big figure at Spurs.

The South Korea international forward was badly missed against Palace, and his absence did affect Tottenham’s creativity.
