On a night when Tottenham dominated Leicester and created the better chances they still managed to lose, as the Foxes undid them. Who were the best performers?

Hugo Lloris of Tottenham Hotspur reacts during the Premier League match between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur at The King Power Stadium on November 28, 2017 in Leicester, England.

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris – 5/10

Could do nothing on either goal. Had little to do otherwise.

Centre-back: Eric Dier – 4/10

Let Vardy run off him for Leicester’s opener. Wasn’t too bad besides that, but the error was huge and put Spurs into a losing position they would never get out of.

Centre-back: Davinson Sanchez – 6/10

Not bad, certainly, but failed to bail his team-mates out as he has in the past.

Centre-back: Jan Vertonghen – 4/10

Shocking decision to let Mahrez cut infield onto his left-foot in first-half stoppage time, allowing the Algerian to score what was eventually the winning goal.

Right wing-back: Serge Aurier – 5/10

Worked hard in defence, but wasn’t effective winning just 2/7 tackles. Did very little in attack.

Central midfield: Moussa Sissoko – 4/10

Should have scored an equaliser after being put through by Kane after 16 minutes. Shot it straight at Schmeichel. Ran around a lot but did little else. Removed early.

Central midfield: Moussa Dembélé – 5/10

Safe with the ball (94% pass completion) but not adventurous or creative enough. Looks a way short of his best. Moved with 20 minutes to go.

Danny Rose of Tottenham Hotspur reacts during the Premier League match between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur at The King Power Stadium on November 28, 2017 in Leicester, England.

Left wing-back: Danny Rose – 6/10

Cleared a Morgan header off the line after 8 minutes and was otherwise fairly lively. One of Spurs’ most consistent outlets.

Attacking midfield: Christian Eriksen – 5/10

A return to form for the Dane (well, sort of – he wasn’t terrible). Made several incisive passes in the first half, tailed off in the second and missed a great chance after 74 minutes. Taken off on 77.

Attacking midfield: Dele Alli – 5/10

Was bright and full of purpose, but nevertheless used the ball relatively poorly. Missed a wonderful chance to equalise in the first half, shot it straight into Kasper Schmeichel.

Striker: Harry Kane – 7/10

Bright, inventive and always looking to cause trouble.Kane struggled for much of the match but took his chance with ruthless precision, pulling Spurs back into the match.

Heung-Min Son: – 7/10

Came on for Sissoko after 57 minutes and was superb. Not everything he tried came off, but he never stopped trying and was full of good ideas.

Fernando Llorente: – 4/10

Came on for Dembélé after 69 minutes. Missed a sitter with 10 minutes remaining.

Erik Lamela: – 7/10

Came on for Christian Eriksen after 76 minutes. Set-up Kane wonderfully with his first involvement.
