Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has told BBC Sport that head coach Antonio Conte has improved his Spurs and England international teammate Eric Dier.
Kane believes that Tottenham and England international central defender Dier is playing the best football of his career at the moment.
The striker has noted that it is Tottenham boss Conte who has transformed Dier.
The £92,000-a-week (SalarySport) central defender, who can also play as a midfielder, is back in the England fold and is also a regular for Tottenham in a three-man defence as well now.
Harry Kane on Eric Dier improving under Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur
Kane said about Dier: “I think he has improved. He would be the first to admit that. Consistently, it’s probably the best period of his career.
“Antonio is a great coach, I think he gets the best out of a lot of his players that he works with.”

Form of his life
In our view, Eric Dier is at the top of his game at the moment and is playing brilliantly for Tottenham Hotspur.
That the defender is back playing for England shows just how much he has improved under Conte.
You could argue that Dier should be the first defender on the England teamsheet if head coach Gareth Southgate decides to play a back-three system at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar .
Conte is known for his back-three and wing-back system, and it is clear that Dier has grasped the idea very well.
