Harry Redknapp has predicted in The Sun that Manchester City will eventually sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

The former Tottenham manager believes that the Kane transfer saga will end with the England international striker making the switch to the Premier League champions.

Harry Kane situation

The Telegraph have reported that City have made a bid of £125 million for the 28-year-old striker.

The same publication reported in July that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy values the England international at £160 million.

City manager Pep Guardiola himself has said that he wants to sign Kane.

What Harry Redknapp has said

Redknapp wrote in The Sun: “I said last week that if Harry Kane ends up in Manchester, then it’s very hard to look past City winning the league again.

“But although I think they’ll get him in the end, if something does go wrong, then Lukaku could be the deciding factor.”

How will the saga end?

It is really tricky to predict what will happen in the final days of the summer transfer window.

It is clear that Tottenham chairman Levy is not going to sell Kane for £125 million.

City will need to increase their offer.

Could a bid of £150 million or £160 million do the job?

Probably, but at the same time, you need to take into account that Tottenham will have to get in a replacement for Kane if he leaves.

It is very likely that the next few days will be crucial in this transfer saga.
