On his official YouTube channel, Ben Foster has pointed out how Harry Kane is not getting the credit he deserves for his exploits in the Premier League this season due to the presence of a certain Erling Haaland.

Kane has been different class this season

While the England captain has scored a ridiculous 12 goals in 14 league games this season, it looks unimpressive in comparison to the 18 goals already bagged by Manchester City’s all-encompassing No.9.

However, the 29-year old has managed to reach such an impressive goal tally in a Spurs side starved of creativity.

Additionally, Harry Kane’s partner-in-crime, Son Heung-min has been a shadow of his former self this campaign, while Dejan Kulusevski has returned to proceedings after a significant spell where injury stopped him in his tracks.

Taking all these factors in account as well as the fact that Spurs are arguably yet to put in a convincing all-round performance so far, their talismanic goalscorer has continued to remind observers why he is one of the best in the business.

Foster makes a claim that Kane’s heroics are going under-the-radar

In his latest YouTube video, Ben Foster has shined a light on the fact that Harry Kane is not getting the shine he deserves for having yet another stellar season.

“Honestly, he [Harry Kane] is having a world-class season in the Premier League for Tottenham. 12 goals [in the Premier League] so far and do you know what I think?”

Foster continued, “Nobody is really talking about how good of a season he is having just because Erling Haaland is smashing all sorts of records.”

“Harry Kane has scored 12 goals. That is an absolutely belting season…”

Ben Foster’s assessment is spot on, as Harry Kane would be getting the credit he is due, had it not been for Erling Haaland making a mockery of the Premier League this season.
