Everton currently sit in seventh in the Premier League.

Andrei Kanchelskis has told Bwin that he reckons Marco Silva can push Everton into the top four places of the Premier League – but only if he is given time and money.
Everton currently sit in seventh place after 16 league games, winning only six of those but losing just four matches in the league all season – the same as Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
Summer signings Richarlison, Andre Gomes and Lucas Digne have all impressed since Silva took over, with the Toffees playing much more attractive football under the Portuguese boss than in Sam Allardyce’s reign.
Former Everton winger Kanchelskis is firmly of the belief that Everton can break the mould and push for the top four in coming seasons if the ex-Watford manager is given all resources required.
“Marco Silva can get Everton into the top four of the Premier League if he’s given the time and funds to do so,” Kanchelskis said. “They’re about four or five years from becoming a real threat, but they’ve fought off some big teams to sign the players they did this summer.”

Silva – who signed a three-year deal worth £77,000 a week in the summer (Sun) – was mocked by Watford fans in Everton’s last match, with the Hornets fanbase bringing inflatable snakes to Goodison Park.
Everton face two very tough Premier League fixtures over the next two weekends, travelling to Manchester City on Saturday in a lunchtime kick-off before playing host to Tottenham Hotspur on December 23.
But if the Toffees can get anything from either game it will show they are capable of playing with the big boys. Everton then face Burnley, Leicester City and Brighton over the Christmas period before taking on Lincoln City in the FA Cup on January 6.
