Kamaru Usman may have accidentally shared a private conversation with Anthony Joshua.

The former heavyweight champion was recently involved in a car accident that left two of his friends dead, and he also spent time in the hospital.

Aside from one short message on social media, Joshua has not spoken publicly about the crash or about Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami’s deaths.

A video of him speaking with former UFC welterweight champion Usman has now started to get attention online.

Usman recently posted behind-the-scenes footage from an AKO MMA event.

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, who heads up the promotion, was in Lagos, Nigeria, for the event.

The video also captured a FaceTime call between Usman and Joshua.

During their conversation, the Briton spoke about what happened.

“Two of my close friends passed away,” he said.

“One was in the front, and one was behind him. On the right side, they both passed away.

“It still hasn’t sunk in yet. Life is short, man. Now I get to speak to you for the first time.”

Usman added: “It’s a funny way of moving things. Thank God. I’m telling you, you scared the world.”

Soon after posting it, some fans noticed that Usman’s upload had been edited to remove his phone call with Joshua, but people had already pointed it out before the clip was removed.

Beyond that, other people recorded it and reposted it across X, where it has continued to spread online.
