Kalvin Phillips salary has become a frequently searched term after the 27-year-old returned to Manchester City overweight.
The England international was named in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man World Cup squad despite playing just 53 minutes of football across all competitions for Manchester City so far this season.
Pep Guardiola paid £45m to sign Phillips from Leeds back in July.
However, the Spaniard has barely been able to use his new No.4 due to a shoulder injury.
So, how much do Manchester City pay Phillips? Let’s take a look…
Kalvin Phillips salary
Well, the Citizens pay Phillips a weekly wage of £160,000-a-week.

That is according to Salary Sport.
On their website, it can be seen that Phillips received a substantial pay rise after signing a six-year contract with Manchester City, as he earned £38,000-a-week in his final season at Leeds.

Those close to the Etihad Stadium know that Guardiola takes no nonsense when it comes to his players staying in shape.
As detailed by the Daily Mail, even Sergio Aguero – one of the best players in Manchester City’s history – was once dropped from the squad by the Spaniard after going 100g over his target weight range.
Guardiola has now banished Phillips from training, and will only allow him to return once he loses some fat.
The Yorkshire Pirlo – as nicknamed by Leeds fans due to his excellent passing ability – only made two appearances for England at the World Cup, both of which came as a substitute.
Phillips played 32 minutes of the 3-0 win over Wales, providing an assist for Marcus Rashford to score the third and final goal.
The overweight Manchester City maestro then played eight minutes as England beat Senegal in the Round of 16, again by a 3-0 scoreline.
Hopefully, Phillips can get himself back into Guardiola’s good books soon, as he is too talented to spend his time at the Etihad Stadium wasted on the sidelines.
