One Leeds ‘fan’ took it too far.

Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips responded firmly to a supporter who took the criticism of Patrick Bamford too far.
Bamford had a poor game in midweek and Leeds needed Eddie Nketiah to come off the bench to salvage a draw against Preston.
Nketiah has not started a Championship game yet and calls are growing incessantly loud for him to replace Bamford, who looks bereft of confidence.
One fan took the Bamfrod criticism a bit over the top, urging Phillips to ‘snap Bamford in training’.
Phillips responded in support of his teammate, calling the fan out over the ridiculous comment.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa has been steadfast in keeping Bamford in his line up.
It’s getting more difficult to defend the normally irreproachable coach over this decision, and the call should be an easy one when Leeds face Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
Taking Bamford out of the criticism, hearing it from the fans, may help him.
