Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has responded to Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah’s post on Instagram following the match against Manchester United at the weekend.
Nketiah has taken to Instagram to express his delight at Arsenal’s 1-0 win against United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
The 21-year-old striker, who spent the first half of the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Leeds, did not start the match, but the youngster came on as a substitute in the 76th minute.
The England Under-21 international has revelled in the win on Instagram, and Leeds midfielder Phillips has responded to his post.
Phillips responded: “😍 What a guy”
Encouraging
Leeds were playing in the Championship last season, but the Whites are now in the Premier League.
Nketiah and Phillips are Premier League rivals now, but it is encouraging to see that they remain friends from their time at Leeds.
The 24-year-old midfielder seems to be happy that the Arsenal striker is doing well at the moment and is getting playing time for Mikel Arteta’s team.
While the Gunners are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four, one suspects that Leeds will be happy to end up in the top 10.
