Brighton and Hove Albion loanee Ben White has started off his career at Leeds United in a strong fashion.

Kalvin Phillips has claimed on Instagram that the game is ‘too easy’ for his Leeds United teammate Ben White after he was presented with the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for August.
Centre-back White is on a season-long loan at Elland Road from Premier League side Brighton, and it is fair to say that he has fitted in at the club with relative ease.
There would have been some pressure on White’s shoulders when he first arrived because effectively he was replacing summer departure Pontus Jansson at the back.
However, Jansson, who was a popular and key figure at Elland Road for a number of seasons, has not been missed, so far, as White’s recent award is proof of that [LUFC’s official website].
Nonetheless, this was Phillips message to his defensive teammate, as posted on his personal Instagram account:
“One month in the Championship and he gets the player of the month,” Phillips wrote on his Instagram story. “Too easy for the kid.”

Leeds have secured four clean sheets from their first eight Championship games and they are sitting top of the tree, with a trip to Charlton at the weekend awaiting them.
Three points separate Lee Bowyer’s side in eighth place and Leeds who are top so that in itself proves what a couple of poor performances and results can do.
Therefore, Marcelo Bielsa’s side need to be on their toes in these coming weeks because if they can then it’ll bode well for them heading into the next international break.
