
Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has said on BBC One (4:16pm, June 13, 2021) that he loves playing with West Ham United star Declan Rice.
Phillips made the comments about Rice following England’s 1-0 win against Croatia at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
The 25-year-old started alongside the West Ham star in the middle of the park for the Three Lions in the Euro 2020 game.
The Leeds star provided the assist for Raheem Sterling’s goal in the second half.
Phillips said on BBC One (4:16pm, June 13, 2021): “I love playing with Declan. I love playing in that role where I have the licence to go forward and I know that Declan’s behind me and backing me up deep.”

Phillips and Rice did well in the middle of the park for England.
While the Leeds star went forward whenever he got the chance, the West Ham midfielder sat back and protected the back-line.
Phillips saying that he loves playing with Rice can only be good for England at the Euros.
