Brown, who struggled while on loan to Leeds United last season, played in Chelsea’s pre-season friendly on Wednesday.

The former Leeds United teammates, Kalvin Phillips and Izzy Brown, have exchanged heartwarming messages with one another on Instagram.
Brown played the second half of Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Bohemians on Wednesday, alongside another one-time Leeds man, Lewis Baker.
And the winger posted the following on Instagram afterwards, leading to an interaction with Phillips, the current Whites midfielder.
Brown’s 45 minutes of football were more than he managed throughout his entire Leeds spell, in which he struggled with injury, although, meaningless friendly or not, some Chelsea fans were less than impressed with his showing.
Another loan spell, or perhaps even a permanent move, now looks likely for Brown, who still has two years left on his Chelsea contract.
But Leeds are not expected to renew their interest, having already added Helder Costa of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 22-year-old’s position.
