Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds have been far from full strength of late.

Kalvin Phillips has told Leeds Live that Pablo Hernandez, Kemar Roofe and Gaetano Berardi are all back in training and could be available to face Blackburn Rovers on October 20 at Ewood Park.
All three players failed to feature in September as Leeds have stuttered somewhat, winning only two of their last eight matches and dropping from the top of the Championship into third place.
Versatile defender Berardi has since been replaced by Pontus Jansson, who is in excellent form and continued that with a superb display against Brentford on Saturday. He even scored the equalising goal in the 88th minute.
Roofe has been replaced by Tyler Roberts and the Wales international has scored three goals in his absence, while Hernandez has been sorely missed out wide. But Phillips gave an update on the trio that will come as excellent news.
“They’ve looked well. They did a tough session yesterday, looking sharp, looking fit,” Phillips said. “It’s just getting a little bit of match sharpness, but they are looking really well and they’re just looking forward to getting back.
“We’ve missed Pablo and Kemar. We like being around each other and it’s just good to have them back.”

Left-back Barry Douglas remains sidelined though his injury is not deemed to be entirely serious, but marquee summer signing Patrick Bamford remains sidelined after going under the knife to correct a posterior cruciate ligament injury.
Leeds will be hoping to build on their late equaliser against promotion rivals Brentford with a win over Tony Mowbray’s newly-promoted Blackburn – and will certainly be boosted if Hernandez, Roofe and Berardi are available.
