Speaking to Sky Sports, Kaká heaped praise on Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti and revealed the ‘most impressive characteristic’ in the Italian’s locker.

The 2007 Ballon d’Or winner said: ‘Every coach that I had in my career, I learned something from them. Everyone you work with can teach you something, whether it is tactically, technically or just something personal. But Carlo was the best one for me because he brought the very best out of me.

‘The most impressive characteristic that he has got, in my opinion, is his ability to manage people.’

It is particularly interesting to hear the Brazilian say that Ancelotti’s best managerial trait is his warmth and ability to manage people.

It’s far from surprising, or players such as James Rodriguez wouldn’t have followed him from Real Madrid, to Bayern Munich, and then to Merseyside.

However, the former Chelsea boss is very reserved and keeps his cards close to his chest emotions-wise.

We rarely see him charging around the pitch giving hugs like Jurgen Klopp, so Kaká’s comments give us an intriguing insight into what the Italian is like behind the scenes.

The former Real Madrid maestro’s words should be listened to closely, as it was under Ancelotti where he enjoyed the greatest form of his career and rose to prominence.

As Transfermarkt shows, Kaká scored 95 goals in 270 games under the tutelage of the Toffees boss.

He also managed to amass 78 assists in that time as well.

Everton should feel extremely fortunate to have a manager of Ancelotti’s calibre roaming the Goodison Park dugout.

Hopefully, he can tutor one of his Toffees players to hit the astronomical heights that Kaká reached.
