West Ham United are still keen on signing Rangers winger Kai Kennedy, according to The Athletic.
What’s the story?
Well-known and well-respected journalist Pete O’Rourke reported on Twitter earlier this week that West Ham have had a second bid for Kennedy turned down by Rangers.
Steven Gerrard’s Rangers subsequently announced on their official website that the 19-year-old winger has joined Dunfermline Athletic on loan for next season.
The Scottish Premiership champions will have a January recall option.
Now, you would have thought that it would be the end of the story as far as West Ham are concerned.
However, The Athletic have reported that West Ham are not going away.
It has been reported that the Premier League club ‘remain keen’ on signing the Scotland Under-19 international on a permanent basis.

Could a West Ham transfer happen?
Rangers turning down two bids for Kennedy shows just how highly the Ibrox club rate him.
Yes, the winger has yet to establish himself in the Rangers first team, but he is only 19.
A loan spell at Dunfermline in the Scottish Championship would help the Scottish youngster in his growth and development as a footballer.
However, if the youngster later feels that he is unable to get a pathway into the Rangers first team and West Ham are persistent in their interest, then a transfer to the Hammers could happen.
