Liverpool reportedly want to sign the Bayer Leverkusen ace.

Bayer Leverkusen ace Kai Havertz spoke exclusively to German media outlet Bild, and left the door open to the Premier League, amidst links with Liverpool.
The 20-year-old German starlet is a transfer target for the Reds, according to Bild, but he won’t come cheap, with a £90 million price tag being slapped on his head.
Havertz really is a truly exceptional talent.
The three-capped Germany international was in sensational form for Leverkusen last season, racking up an impressive 20 goals and seven assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.
And he would be an excellent addition for Liverpool.
Havertz has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but when speaking to German media outlet Bild, he suggested that he is open to moving to a foreign league:

“I am honest, at some point the next step must come for me. But I’m not going to worry about when exactly that will happen. I really don’t know yet whether FC Bayern is the next and right step for me. I also don’t know whether foreign countries would not be more suitable for me. I really don’t think too much about it at the moment. I have that self-confidence, yes [that I could play for Bayern]. But the same applies to other clubs as well.”
Liverpool undoubtedly need more competition for places in the attacking department at Anfield.
Havertz can play as a number 10 or as a right winger, and that versatility would enable Jurgen Klopp to change his formation during games without making substitutions.
£90 million seems like a lot of money for someone so young and relatively unproven, but in today’s day and age, for a talent like Havertz, that it the kind of money it costs.
And following the talented German’s recent comments, Liverpool might just be given hope that they could sign him either this summer or next year.
