Crystal Palace are looking to bolster their attack this summer and should take a chance on Daniel Sturridge.

Crystal Palace are in need of attacking reinforcements this term and have been linked with the likes of West Brom’s Jay Rodriguez (Sky Sports) and Borussia Dortmund’s Andre Schurrle (Calcio Mercato), but should they be looking at Liverpool’s forgotten striker Daniel Sturridge?
There’s no doubting Wilfried Zaha carried Palace at times throughout the last campaign, with a return from injury sparking a mid-season resurgence, after a winless run under Frank de Boer.
Roy Hodgson can’t afford to pit the club’s hopes of survival all on the Ivorian next term, as a long-term injury could spark another turbulent period at Selhurst Park.

Sturridge has fallen down the pecking order massively at Liverpool this term, with the emergence of the Reds’ formidable front three, and now needs a high-profile move to revive his career in the Premier League.
A loan-switch to West Brom proved fruitless, as the 28-year-old registered just six appearances after sustaining an injury in February – effectively ending all World Cup prospects for the striker.
However, if he can find a way to manage his physical issues, Sturridge is a genuine top quality player, having amassed 74 goals across all seasons in England’s top flight.

The prospect of Sturridge linking with Zaha is also incredibly appealing to fans, who feel that both Christian Benteke and Alexander Sorloth are contributing to a lack of mobility up-front.
