It appears Emery on the whole was not the level of appointment that the majority of Arsenal fans were expecting after the end of Arsene Wenger’s 22-year dynasty at the club, with names like Luis Enrique and Massimiliano Allegri proving far more popular among the fans.
Despite the controversy surrounding the decision, there is no doubting the Spaniard’s quality though, having one the Europa League three consecutive times from 2014-2016 with Sevilla, before earning the Manager of the Year award for his only season in France.
