Juventus are reportedly plotting a move to re-appoint Antonio Conte as manager of the club, with the Tottenham figure on the Old Lady’s shortlist of potential coaches to replace Massimiliano Allegri.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus could soon make an approach for the Italian manager to return to Turin in 2023, with club president Andrea Agnelli a big fan of Conte and the methods the Tottenham coach could apply to get the Serie A giants back on their feet.
Juventus have endured one of their worst starts to a season in quite some time this campaign with the Bianconeri already eight points of league leaders Atalanta and facing the real threat of dropping down into the UEFA Europa League with a third-place UEFA Champions League finish.
With a real crisis starting to begin at Juventus, appointing a manager like Conte would be the perfect decision ahead of next season given the Tottenham man’s record in Italy, with Gazzetta even labelling the 53-year-old as the ‘master pick’ for the Old Lady to replace Allegri.

However, luring Conte back to Juventus is easier said than done, with the Tottenham boss one of the best-paid managers in all of football as reported by the Telegraph, with the former Inter Milan manager earning £288,000-a-week at the north London club.
Indeed, with Tottenham also enjoying their best start to a Premier League ever and their best in the top-flight since 1963, Conte is doing impressive things with Spurs this campaign. Yet even still, a return to Juventus could be an alluring one for the former Chelsea manager, especially if the Italian is unable to win silverware this campaign.
Juventus could realistically appoint Conte next summer

Conte’s reputation as a hot-headed manager is one that is quite well-known in the footballing world, and given the nature of Tottenham, there’s a good chance that we will eventually hit that boiling point in the coming months, meaning a return to Juventus is quite likely in 2023.
With the Old Lady in disarray and in need of a change, appointing Conte might be the best move the Serie A side could make when Allegri walks. And for Tottenham, they could struggle to find a replacement for the Italian who has impressed in his 12 months in north London.
