Juventus will reportedly turn their full attention to Manchester City attacker Gabriel Jesus this summer after a failed enquiry for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri were keen on signing the Egyptian international as a replacement for Paulo Dybala, however, the finances of such a transfer are now proving to be too expensive for Juventus, with Jesus now being eyed by the Italian club.
As per the report, City could be open to selling the Brazilian international this summer with Pep Guardiola’s side the favourites to sign Erling Haaland, meaning a forward will have to leave the Etihad Stadium to make room for the Borussia Dortmund superstar.
Moreover, according to the Daily Star, Juventus are open to taking Jesus off City’s books, with the European giants willing to spend as much as £65m for the 24-year-old this summer as a potential replacement for Dybala.
The Argentine superstar is set to leave Juventus for free at the end of this season, and whilst Guardiola is a big fan of Jesus, selling the striker for a huge profit to the Old Lady could be some sensational business from City.
As for Liverpool and Salah, Juventus’ stance on the finances of the deal is a huge result for the Merseyside club, who are still working on tying the Premier League superstar to a new contract, with the winger’s current deal set to expire in 2023.
City should grant Jesus Juventus move with Salah project now off

Salah joining Juventus was always going to be an ambitious move for the Italian side, yet with Jesus now proving to be a more viable option and City actually open to selling their attacker, the Brazilian could soon be Dybala’s replacement.
Indeed, with Haaland likely to join City this summer, selling Jesus to both recoup some funds and to clear space in the squad makes perfect sense for Guardiola’s side, and for Jesus, Juventus could be an excellent next step for the young striker’s career.
